Sean began his professional dog training career in 1990 and has been teaching group classes at Tails-U-Win! Canine Center, LLC in Manchester, CT during his tenure. A small sampling of Sean’s classes includes Puppy Kindergarten, Family Dog, Loose Leash Walking, Sensational Stays and the extremely popular Scent Fun program which Sean created and coordinates. Additionally, Sean provides behavioral consultations and CGC evaluations. Dog sports are not alien to Sean; he competed with his personal dogs in both competition obedience and lure coursing.

 

Every Summer Sean travels to VT to share his breadth of knowledge as a longtime instructor for Camp Gone to the Dogs, being a part of the staff since 1992.  At Camp, Sean has taught a wide range of classes ranging from basic obedience to Scent Fun. Sean is an approved United States Canine Scent Sports CSD and Judge and has been instrumental in helping USCSS™ offer more Scent Work trials on the East Coast. Students appreciate Sean’s laid-back style, easy sense of humor and approach which explains not only the “how” but the “why” behind every exercise. Sean shares his life with his loving and understanding wife, five wonderful children, the distinguished Whippet, Misty, the hilarious Portuguese Water Dog, Mango and the adorable Silken Windhound, Effie.
